Royal-Tee prepares to release the artwork for “Better Than Yesterday”

Royal-Tee has become a valued member of the Carolina music scene. Along the way, a bigger audience has become accustomed to his music and his fan base has grown.

Next up from Royal-Tee is his track Better Than Yesterday. Leading up to the release of his Reality Rap project, Royal-Tee will continue dropping songs from the tape and tomorrow he releases the official artwork for the track.

Royal-Tee set to release “I Am Royal-Tee” a short documentary with Distinctive Minds

Royal-Tee has announced that his upcoming project “Reality Rap” is set for release this summer.

The rapper promises to unveil the release date and artwork on Twitter. To commemorate the milestone, he will release a short documentary titled “I Am Royal-Tee” with video crew Distinctive Minds.

Of the project, Royal-Tee previously said that it conveys his maturity as an artist. “It’s definitely a growth and a new sound from the last project,” he explained. “It’s my personal journey [to success] and it’s my reality. A lot of people as individuals, we all have our own definition of what reality is. I’m living my reality, I’m still on the grind and on the hunt for it, going out and getting everything that I feel I deserve.”

On the heels of an exceedingly successful weekend, Royal-Tee had a private in-store meet and greet for his fans and some media people at the Social Status prior to his show.  It was a good precursor to what the show would look like. Fans got an autograph/picture/moment from Royal-Tee.  As for the show, it was a packed house at the Greene Street Club. Everybody was ready for Royal-Tee to take the stage and when he did they turned it all the way up! We were posted on-stage with a view of the entire audience. It was amazing to see how engaged they were in the music. they loved every second of it!  It almost felt like a rock-n-roll concert at times. When he went into his songs (Zone Out, Vintage, Where I’m From, Neva Stop, and Like Me) he barley had to rap a word, the crowd filled in every blank,  it was phenomenal! Special shout-out to our people in Greensboro, NC for making it happen.

Nipsey Hussle and Royal-Tee Rips Charlotte, NC Performance: Show Recap

Nipsey Hussle and Royal-Tee set the stage ablaze  in Charlotte, NC last night (December 29th) with special guests Lotta, Dee Dray and Drumma SC.

The night jumped off with Dee Dray and Drumma SC, taking the stage and setting the tone for the show. A quarter-hour later, Lotta took the stage with a live band and gave a great performance. Fayetteville native Lotta was a shining star as well on the evening. Lotta and Dee Dray showed poise and handled the crowd with ease throughout their sets.

When Royal-Tee came out to lace the crowd with banging out a couple tracks from V.O.R (“Vintage,” “Where I’m From,” “Zone Out,” “Be You”) apparently the crowd was down to fuck with Royal-Tee. ‘Cause as he unleashed a rapidfire set of his own shit, the whole place started wilded out, throwin’ fists, and sharin’ spliffs.

Neighborhood Nip was locked in from the door, setting the tone early with songs which helped bring an energy and focus to his performance. Engaging the fans with his smooth, laid-back Cali flow, Nipsey got it cracking by firing hot bars on the many cuts off his mixtapes, The Marathon and The Marathon Continues as fans shadowed Nipsey’s movements and sung the words to the tracks through out the night.

Royal-Tee Gears Up To Release A Black And White Visual For ‘The Reason’ Featuring Quartrail Tucker

Royal-Tee is still supporting his Street Dreamaz Ent release, The Voice Of Reason Project, with videos, shows and more, but the relentless worker has more in store. The Carolina rapper says that he wants to drop another project by the end of the year, though it won’t be as lengthy as some of his earlier work.

“I wanna do another project; nothing major, major with another 17 tracks, but I wanna do another just ’cause there’s a lot of ideas I got from being in the studio,” Royal-Tee. said. “A lot of things I experienced since VOR that I wanna write about, talk about. I’m looking forward to working with a lot of other artists and producers..”

We started working on this project in 2008. After releasing my first LP (Alumni), I met DJ Skillz at the Charlotte Convention Center (CIAA Weekend) after my performance. We spoke about working on a project together, then we got in the studio and made it happen. A lot of the songs didn’t make the cut, LOL. I remember hitting the studio in Atlanta GA, long nights in the lab with Ill Genius (producer), knocking out 6 freestyles a day. The sad part is only 2 of them made the cut for the project (“Paid in Full” & “Where i’m from”). I was soul searching for a different sound. After I released the Alumni album received I great feedback, but it was so many Highs & Lows… Thanks for  the support! Royal-Tee
